This is where all the organizing, communicating, and contacting will be.  Our old website from May used an email list to keep track of the members, but this method will be retired.  If you’re a member of the forums, you’re a member of the group, so welcome!  This message board may seem small now, but it will grow with time.  Have fun. =)

Welcome to Lawson’s Minutemen

Hello and welcome to this new grassroots site to help get William “B.J.” Lawson elected as U.S. representative of North Carolina’s 4th district.  This website is not only for people living in the district, the state, or even the country.  Freedom loving individuals from all around the world have come together in support of this campaign to promote and defend peace, prosperity, and liberty!  Actually, this site isn’t exactly new.  We started back in May, but it simply wasn’t enough.  Between now and then, many of us have been extremely busy promoting a moneybomb for Lawson, which is in about a half hour of me posting this.  Now is the time for all of us to start getting serious with this grassroots support.  Lawson’s primary opponent was absolutely crushed on May 6th, which has certainly led some people to start looking in our direction.  We will continue this victory through November and defeat big government politician David Price.  We simply cannot afford this price and this policy based on no principles.  What we need is a congress that can actually represent the people, defend the Constitution, limit government power, and promote the freedom that each of us have come to love as Americans and as human beings.

I, as an average citizen, invite you to join us and hold this torch of freedom.  What has died down to a flicker in this country and in this world can rage into a flame again, untouchable by the greedy politicans in Washington.  If “one man with courage is a majority” according to Jefferson, what is a group of hundreds of courageous people?
